Y'all tin can try repeatedly pressing the button fast.
If that doesn't work, try pressing information technology super hard.
If that doesn't work, try hit information technology (gently!) Against a table (touch on the power button)
Finally, if that doesn't piece of work - and this is what fixed it for me - take a small piece of paper and stick it in betwixt the ability button and make clean it by moving that around. Every bit much as you tin.
Tell me if whatsoever of these worked.

I had checked that site. Cypher well-nigh removing the power and book buttons. I suspect that one has to advisedly separate the flex cablevision from a metallic support, and then one could unscrew the metal support. I will do a teardown once my new power button and volume buttons flex cable arrives.
Thank you,

And then, I received my new flex cablevision and installed it. Like shooting fish in a barrel peasy. I did accept to remove the previous flex cablevision/button.
There is a metal bar for support when you button the buttons with three screws, on pointing vertical and ii pointing horizontal. Because the button flex cable gets aptitude over the support bar, yous have to either carefully remove the flex cable from the support bar, or cutting the flex cablevision around the ii horizontal screws. One time removed from the body, a sharp pocketknife is needed to remove the glued buttons from the support bar. Fairly easy to popular them off with a sharp knife.
Finally, due to an error in the organization I had to wipe and lose my information partition. But all seems to exist well now. I'g not endmost up the telephone simply yet, as I have a new battery coming on Monday and I desire to supersede the current bombardment before I close it upwards fully.
Promise this helps anybody else.
Cheers,

My wife's P3XL but started doing this last nighttime... Planning on ordering the parts & tools today to do this myself. Any boosted tips for me or pics/vids of the process you took while you were doing it?
No pics or vids. Recommend buying plastic razer blades to carve up the back. Be conscientious of the fingerprint sensor connector. I concluded upwardly breaking mine.
I used a estrus gun to hear upwardly the dorsum mucilage and then worked the plastic razer blade around the trunk. It was painful to do, but it all worked out.
Good luck.
